Call for Experts & Consultants for “New Horizon” project

Politics and Society Institute (PSI), is a Jordanian nonprofit NGO, policy and research organization established to advance practical research, innovative ideas, and realistic solutions towards building a more prosperous Jordan and a stable region.

The Institute is an independent organization that aims to deepen the understanding of public policy and decision-making processes and to build a better knowledge platform of domestic and regional dynamics that will define our future.

The Institute advances its mission guided by values of the rule of law, civil society, good governance, and moderation. It provides an innovative, integrated and global approach to its analysis of complex trends and transformations with particular attention to youth dynamics. 

Project Summary:

Politics and Society (PSI) Institute, funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF), in partnership with the Naya Community Network and the Citizenship Center for Development, launched the “New Horizon” project, which aims to enhance the civil and political participation of youth and women in Jordan, based on the outcomes of the Royal Commission to Modernize the Political System. The project’s work will be concentrated in 6 governorates; Irbid, Mafraq, Zarqa, Madaba, Karak and Tafila.

The project targets 90 young Male and Female and provides specialized training in civic and political participation, justice, the rule of law, communication and media, climate change and environmental responsiveness, integrity, and transparency.


The project also aims to build partnerships with 7 civil society organizations in the targeted governorates to enhance their ability to develop dialogue toward political modernization in Jordan.

The Politics and Society Institute (PSI) is actively seeking Consultants specializing in civic and political participation, justice, the rule of law, communication and media, climate change and environmental responsiveness, integrity, and transparency, 

Responsibilities for these consultancy roles include reviewing, enhancing, and assessing PSI’s practices within each of these areas. The duration of each consultancy contract will be for a specified number of days, within a defined timeframe. Terms will be individually negotiated based on the candidate’s qualifications and the services provided.
