Environment & Climate change consultant

The Politics and Society Institute is looking for an experienced Environment & Climate change consultant , under the supervision of the Program Manager, he/she will be responsible for the delivery and building capacities of Youth participants, this is a Consultancy position based in Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on environment & climate change understanding.
- Create training materials, modules, and resources to enable participants to effectively focus on environmental policies,
- Assess the specific training needs of staff, partners, and stakeholders related to environmental policies.
- Customize training programs to address identified skill gaps and enhance capacity in environmental policies.
- Provide guidance on best practices in environmental reporting methodologies, including data collection, analysis, and disclosure.
- Share insights on how to align environmental policies with outcomes of the Royal Commission to Modernize the Political System and international standards.
- Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Regularly review and update training content to reflect evolving environmental practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, or a related discipline).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and delivering environmental reporting training programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental reporting standards, regulations, and data management.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse groups, both internal staff and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting accurate reporting about participant progress in environment & climate change.
