Media & Communications Consultant

The Politics and Society Institute is looking for an experienced media and communications consultant, under the supervision of the Program Manager, he/she will be responsible for the delivery and building capacities of Youth participants, this is a Consultancy position based in Amman, Jordan.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs on media and communications .
• Create training materials, modules, and resources to enable participants to effectively focus on media and communications .
• Assess the specific training needs of staff, partners, and stakeholders related to media and communications.
• Customize training programs to address identified skill gaps and enhance capacity in media and communications.
• Share insights on how to align media and communications  with outcomes of the Royal Commission to Modernize the Political System and international standards.
• Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• A Commitment to following up on participants’ activities during the project implementation period
• Regularly review and update training content to reflect evolving media and communications  practices.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field ( Governance, political science, sustainability, or a related discipline).
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and delivering media and communications  programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of media and communications  standards, practices.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse groups, both internal staff and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to promoting accurate reporting about participant progress  in media and communications.
