Justice & Rule of law consultant

The Institute of Politics and Society is seeking an experienced Justice and Rule of Law Consultant, under the supervision of the Program Director, will be responsible for introducing and building the capacity of youth participants, a consultant position based in Amman, Jordan
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on justice and the rule of law.
- Create training materials, modules, and resources to enable participants to effectively focus on justice and the rule of law.
- Assess the specific training needs of staff, partners, and stakeholders related to justice and the rule of law.
- Customize training programs to address identified skill gaps and enhance capacity in justice and the rule of law
- Share insights on how to align justice and the rule of law with outcomes of the Royal Commission to Modernize the Political System and international standards.
- Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- A Commitment to following up on participants’ activities during the project implementation period
- Regularly review and update training content to reflect evolving justice and the rule of law practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (law, political science, or a related discipline).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and delivering justice and the rule of law training programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of justice and the rule of law standards, practices.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse groups, both internal staff and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting accurate reporting about participant progress in justice and the rule of law.
