Civic & political engagement consultant
The Politics and Society Institute is looking for an experienced civic and political engagement consultant , under the supervision of the Program Manager, he/she will be responsible for the delivery and building capacities of Youth participants, this is a Consultancy position based in Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on civic and political engagement .
- Create training materials, modules, and resources to enable participants to effectively focus on civic and political engagement .
- Assess the specific training needs of staff, partners, and stakeholders related to civic and political engagement.
- Customize training programs to address identified skill gaps and enhance capacity in civic and political engagement.
- Share insights on how to align civic and political engagement with outcomes of the Royal Commission to Modernize the Political System and international standards.
- Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- A Commitment to following up on participants’ activities during the project implementation period
- Regularly review and update training content to reflect evolving civic and political engagement .
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field ( Governance, political science, law, or a related discipline).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and delivering civic and political engagement programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of civic and political engagement standards, and practices.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse groups, both internal staff and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting accurate reporting about participant progress in civic and political engagement.
