Academic advisor

The Politics and Society Institute is looking for an experienced academic advisor , under the supervision of the Program Manager, he/she will be responsible for the delivery and building capacities of Youth participants, this is a Consultancy position based in Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver training programs on leadership and understanding skills for youth.
Develop and deliver training programs to build capacity of 7 CSOs on project scope of work and objectives and engage them in project implementation in the 6 targeted governorates.
Follow up and review the training materials that will be prepared by the trainers for approval.
Create training materials, modules, and resources to enable participants to effectively focus on several topics (environment and climate change, justice and the rule of law, civic participation, political participation, integrity and transparency in the democratic process, media and communications).
Providing us with training materials and ideas aimed at unifying youth and women in the context of the modernized political vision promoted by the government.
Customize training programs to address identified skill gaps and enhance capacity in project topics.
Share insights on how to align participants’ training with outcomes of the Royal Commission to Modernize the Political System and international standards.
Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
A Commitment to following up on participants’ activities during the project implementation period
Regularly review and update training content to reflect evolving media and communications practices.

Qualifications:


Ph.D degree or equivalent in a relevant field ( Governance, political science, law, or a related discipline).
A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and delivering requirements training programs.
Comprehensive knowledge of the context of the modernized political vision promoted by the government.
Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Experience working with diverse groups, both internal staff and external stakeholders.
A commitment to promoting accurate reporting about project progress.
