Ahmad Jamil Azem

An academic advisor at the Institute of Politics and Society, and a professor of Political Science and International Relations at Birzeit University and Qatar University. He holds a PhD in Political Science, specializing in International Relations, from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, and a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Jordan.He has authored several publications, including “Palestinian Youth: From Movement to Mobilization (1908–2018)”. He has also co-authored a number of books, most notably Arab Satellite Channels and Democracy and The Social History of Jordan (Jordan in Western Studies).His writings have appeared in the journal Al-Siyasa Al-Dawliya in Egypt and in publications of the Institute for Palestine Studies in Beirut and Jerusalem. He is also a member of the Research Advisory Board at Masarat – the Palestinian Center for Policy Research and Strategic Studies.
