Call for Project Coordinator
Project Title: “Transforming the Norwegian Experience in Political Reform to Jordan”
Brief Description:
The project aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between Norwegian experts in political reform and key stakeholders in Jordan, including professors, political party representatives, academic institutions, decision-makers, media, and other concerned parties. It also aims to exchange experience between Norwegian and Jordanian youth so that Jordanian youth, especially who are politically active and can learn from the Norwegian experience in political reform and transformation.

Politics and Society Institute (PSI), is a Jordanian nonprofit NGO, policy and research organization established to advance practical research, innovative ideas and realistic solutions towards building a more prosperous Jordan and a stable region.
The Institute is an independent organization that aims to deepen the understanding of public policy and decision-making processes and to build a better knowledge platform of domestic and regional dynamics that will define our future.
The Institute advances its mission guided by values of rule of law, civil society, good governance and moderation. It provides an innovative, integrated and global approach to its analysis of complex trends and transformations with particular attention to youth dynamics.
Project Coordinator
We are looking for a talented and committed Project Coordinator to join our projects’ team and implement the project activities efficiently and effectively to ensure the smooth execution. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team, including organizing project documentation, managing schedules, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with project goals.
- Serve as the key liaison among project teams, Partners and experts. Facilitate clear and timely communication to ensure all parties are kept informed of project progress and decisions.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agenda, take minutes, and track action items to ensure effective follow-up on critical project activities.
- Assist with resource allocation and planning, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure that project needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines and policies.
- Identify potential project risks and issues, report them to management, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Support quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and management satisfaction.
- Generate regular project reports for management, highlighting progress against milestones, budget adherence, and any issues impacting project scope or timeline.
- Maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring engagement and communication are sustained throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project coordination.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills required, including proficiency in correspondence with various levels of management and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify risks and manage them effectively.
- Ability to create timelines and monitor progress periodically.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes in project scope.
- Proficiency in English.
- Familiar with the political context in Jordan.
