Book Launch: The Guardians of Religious Organization
The Politics and Society Institute hosted a ceremony for the book “The Guardians of religious organization: The Rise and Fall of Al-Qaeda in the Levant” by researchers Hassan Abu Hanieh and Mohammed Abu Rumman, published by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation of Germany in Amman, on Sunday, Oct. 10 at the Amman Archives Library.
Speakers at the ceremony included Rumman, who is the former Minister of Culture and Youth, and Hanieh, who has written many articles and books about Islamic movements.
Dr. Bader Al-Madi, professor of political science at the German Jordanian University and author of “The Idlib Equation in International and Regional Politics,” also spoke at the event.
The seminar was moderated by Hossam Ghariba.
